Luke Messick FC was created from plans Luke had before his passing. It was his hope to provide a permanent way to support youth soccer in Ghana and elsewhere. This program now continues.

Luke's god father, Tom Cho is Senior Vice President of Investments at Davenport & Company. He has guided clients in the investment business for more than 27 years. Tom is also the Branch Manager of Davenport’s Kilmarnock office.
Prior to joining Davenport, Tom served as a Financial Advisor for Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. Tom graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He previously served as Finance Committee Chair for the Queens Lake Association.

Liam brings a passion and understanding of youth and community soccer to the program. His connections in the Virginia soccer community make him an invaluable member of the leadership team.
Luke worked with his father to create the charity plan for this organization. David Messick has decades of experience managing non-profits. He is on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army of the Greater Peninsula. He is managing director of Rainbow Productions, Inc. which provides educational programs to schools across the east coast. He managed the Daily Press Holiday Fund which provided help to families in need across the Virginia Peninsula.
